The British & International Federation of Festivals are the umbrella body for festivals of the performing arts in the UK and beyond. In 2009, there were around 300 festivals affiliated to The British and International Federation of Festivals across the UK and associate members all over the world. There were over 1million performers in 2008 – 80% of whom were under the age of 18, and they reached an audience of around 5million!
